Continued Relationships

Excerpt from Cyrus Kirkpatrick's chapter: Astral Projection & The Second Earth

Expanding the Astral Experience

The experiences with my mother were the most personal and powerful encounters with the other side. They also revealed, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that we can continue relationships with people who have crossed over. Far from being dead, the numerous visits and conversations with my mom (and now my brother) in the months following her death were more detailed than any we had on this plane for years. Since her death, our relationship has improved. In fact, even my relationship with my grandmother during our one twenty-minute “phone call” was the best conversation I’d had with her since perhaps I was a child.

As a side-note, my grandmother has also been highly active with my father, appearing sometimes along with my mother and my aunt, all in a drawn-out attempt to help him overcome his mental crises. It’s been a joint effort between the three of us to help my father in this regard. So not only are these family members still in my life, we actively work on projects together.

Becoming talented at astral experiences also expands far beyond just seeing loved ones. I’ve had some other extremely notable encounters that further broadens my imagination about what might be possible.

In late 2016, at some point in-between visiting my mom, I had a most unusual experience: As often occurs with a projection trip, it began as a lucid dream, but then I collapsed the dream imagery (the dream imagery is a kind of holographic field the mind projects), and found that I was in a real environment. As often happens, I am temporarily flooded by memories of my second-life in the astral (sadly, these memories are barely retained), and I “knew” I was in the astral equivalent of Arizona, and I had been out with friends in the city (it could have been Tucson or Phoenix, I am unsure). I was on the steps of a bar. This, however, was a most unusual bar. Titled the “Punch You, Punch Me Bar and Grill” it was a venue dedicated to MMA enthusiasts.

Inside, men with large, fashionable beards punched, fought and put each other in headlocks. It was raucous and there was more than an ample amount of alcohol being passed around.

Finding the place quite bizarre, I looked around to get more information. I went to the bar and encountered a young man with a winning smile (an “All American” type of guy, maybe in his early twenties.) He explained that the bar was a place for people who love MMA to fight each other without consequences. Of course, in the astral, there’s no fear of long-term wounds or disabilities—people can practice martial arts on each other to their heart’s content.

So I partook, fought a guy with a large beard, and promptly lost. Big surprise.

I returned to the bar and chatted up the bartender again. I told him I was astral projecting which meant I only had a few minutes left, tops, before my experience would end—and I’d like all the information I could, and that I wanted to know his story.

He told me that in life, he was first getting into sports activities, in particular MMA fighting. He discovered how much he loved that type of thing; however, “BAM, one day I dropped dead of a heart attack. The day after I was finally recognized in athletics. So here I am now, continuing what I love on this side.” An idea popped into my head. “Please, tell me your full name. This experience is about to end, but I want to see if I can look you up.”

“Hmm, okay,” the man replied. “My name is John Doe.” His name is not John Doe, but to protect him and his family, we’ll use this name.

The real name he provided was fairly unique. So, I was excited about what would happen after I put it into Google. Almost immediately I saw the same face I encountered in the projection experience. It was his Facebook memorial page....
